“Safe in our hands”

As a company we adhere to stringent health and safety standards to ensure the welfare of our operatives, our clients and members of the general public who are in contact with our construction sites. In order to attain this level of excellence, we are committed to the following procedures:

  • Our staff are properly supervised by experienced team leaders. We support our scaffolding supervisors in undertaking the CISRS Part 3 advanced scaffolder’s card and completing the CISRS 5 Day Construction Site Supervisors Certificate.
  • All our site operatives are provided with an extensive kit of protective clothing, which is renewed on a regular basis.
  • A number of our management team hold the IOSH Managing Safely qualification in order to support and guide our scaffold supervisors in this area.
  • We employ the services of external health and safety consultants to ensure that we are up to date with current legislation. In addition, we utilise their services to carry out random site inspections to maintain consistent best practice across our sites.
  • We prepare site specific method statements and risk assessments, as we understand all our projects present individual health and safety issues.
  • We routinely undertake scaffold inspections on our sites and use the scaff-tag system.
  • We undertake regular on site toolbox talks with our operatives. We also run mandatory off site health and safety training days throughout the year.
